Why Rats Make Great Pets

 These rats are not disase ridden!  They have been domesticated for hundreds of years.  Also, they are not even the same rats that live on NYC streets, they are a different subspecies!  They aren't vermin, they are very clean and are always grooming themselves and each other!  They don't smell bad at all!  Fancy rats are pets, not pests!

 They are smart!  Rats can be taught to go in a litter box, learn their names, can be taught to stand, and can learn to do many other cool tricks, unlike hamsters, mice, or gerbils!

 They are affectionate and loyal!  Rats bond to their owners  very strongly!  As much love as you give them, they give it back to you ten fold!  Also, rats don't bite at all unlike moody hamsters and gerbils!  They are predictable and friendly!

 They are cheap!  Rats cost much less than hamster, gerbils, rabbits, etc., but they must be kept in pairs!  A rat costs about 6 dollars each!  Wow!

 They are so darned cute!  These rats are anything but ugly and gross!  And for you people who don't like the tail, which isn't gross but some seem to think so, there are tailess rats!

 They don't need lots of room.  Rats are a great substitute for dogs when living in a small apartment!

 They don't require tons of time, and an hour a day to spend with your rats is more than enough!  They don't need walks or anything like that either!
