Toerens Sacrificial Assembly´s
"Curse-Pole"

This is to proclaim that the Toerens sacrificial assembly and its members denounce racialism, nazism, sexism, homofobism and similar negativisms, destortions and inflated self-glorifications in the soul. Such moods of mind constitute no "politcs", and no "oppinions" in a normal sense (as is too often held to be the case), and our denouncement of these is thus not a political but a humanistic one. We regard these negativisms as a vicious preposterousness of the person, and therfore, every word and action that flow from them as an outrage against sound morality. We cannot help that such ailments may be found in some people, but we do neither want to have them in our own gathering nor be associated with them in any way. This proclamation also serves to underline that we do not honour such "ethnicism" that seeks to have the own ethnic origins to constitute alpha and omega, the ground and the driving force in our heathen Faith and Way. Such sentiments we hold to be a serious error and a spiritual dead-end street.
This is no "curse-pole" in a real sense. But it is a statement concerning what we do not att all honour but do abhor. Thus this is not any "galdr", no magical spell, no curse (as also this is contained already in the negativisms themselves), - it simply states the point that we take a stand for Man and the Heathen Spritual Life.

In addition, the "Curse-Pole" expresses our reluctance to accept that the negative forces have taken over and violated a number of the more essential symbols of the "Ancient" or "Perennial" Way in both its Nordic and other modalities. The middlemost of the pictures above was painted with the ringfinger of the right hand, the colour used was the red sacrificial mud (abir) of Hindu religious culture, and the sign itself serves to give protection and promote auspiciousness. The swastika is just as commonly seen among the Hindus as is the MacDonald's and similar emblems in our own culture, and it is really no more a nazy logotype than the hexagram (or the "star of David") is only an emblem of the Jewish people. The swastika and the hexagram are both very ancient and universal symbols of the human spirit, and in the Indian cultural area the latter symbol is almost as common as the former, and constituetes there a holy image of the unification of Heaven and Earth, Shiva and Shakti and corresponding notions. We oppose that the swastika and several other holy symbols of the human spirit, such as the hammer of Thor and the Odal-rune, have been missused and monopolized by nazists and others. The thurses may fight and destroy one another, but the holy symbols we wish to have in peace and put them to their proper use. That point we want to make by positing the star of David and the swastika at the side of each other, or, as is done in the emblem of the UFO-cultt below, unify them in a single image.

But the following is the "curse" itself - carved with runes on a stone-pebble and produced in purely positive terms, and thereafter ritually burried in Hogslabylunden, a sacrificeal place dedicated to Mighty Thor: The carving is a chain-bindrune of the Rune of Victory (Tyr) flanked by rejoicing Man-runes (Mađr, according to the younger futhark), whereas on the reverse side of the stone there is a carving of the Man-rune being lead hand in hand by a couple of Victory-runes. This all expresses the holy and by all highly appreciated calling of the Protector of the Middle Earth, - something which is altogether alien to what the twin-spirits, Falsehood and Murderousness, wish for and do.

An authentic striving towards a living community with the devine powers is our essential task, but that striving and that work is irreconcilable with any approval of forces distinctly destructive of human life and contrary to human worth, dignity and essential interests, irrespective of whether these forces make their appearance in self or others."]
