This is an originalissue 1/24 Monogram kit built 15 years ago. Paint is Testors Model Master Kiln Red Metallic, polished and rubbed out a few months ago (I think it was cured by then!) Chrome trim is household aluminum foil.

I used the hood scoop, wheels, tires, and seats from the Monogram 57 Chevy. I also added the missing door and trunk locks, corrected the "C" pillars, added valve stems to the wheels, and installed basic ignition wiring. Windshield is vacformed, and windows tinted with Tamiya Clear Smoke.
