This is the old Hawk kit done in about 1970 (!). I stole some of the cockpit detail from the Nichimo kit and scratchbuilt the rest, then glued the main gear doors closed so I wouldn't have to do so much work in the gear wells. Finished with a combination of aluminum foil and Floquil Old Silver.

The flaps aren't *really* black just looks that way because of the lighting. The model survived until 1987, when it became the victim of a dusting accident by my (then) new bride... \sigh/
